Provide the creator name or GitHub handle and confirm the contribution license. No empty source URL or adaptation explanation is required.

Adapted

Provide the upstream URL, upstream creator, upstream license, and a concise account of the changes. Incompatible or unclear licensing cannot enter the registry.

Remix

Reference the parent component ID and explain the variation. The validator checks missing parents and lineage cycles.

Where credit appears

Cards show a compact creator identity. Detail pages expose full provenance. Generated source headers and package metadata preserve the same record.
